Reddit user Sh4dowWalker96 found that to accomplish the Borderlands 3 infinite spawn method, players must have progressed far enough into the DLC to the point where they have entered Trashlantis in the Compactor area and have defeated the Scraptrap Nest along with Scraptrap Prime. Upon defeating the bosses, players will have to progress the mission by running through a shipping container and dropping down. When returning to the Scraptrap boss arena, players can farm the bosses as usual if they wish, but with the simple respawn method there is no need to save and quit.

After defeating the bosses, run through the shipping container and drop down onto the small box directly beneath the ledge. Looking back upwards will allow the player to mantle back up into the arena. This refreshes the Scraptrap bosses and allows for multiple kills without having to save and quit.

On Mayhem 4 difficulty in Borderlands 3, this is a great way to farm for XP, as the Scraptrap Nest gives out thousands as the player must kill multiple before the fight with Scraptrap Prime. This method is also a great legendary farm as Scraptrap Prime is guaranteed to drop the new Lucky 7 pistol along with the possibility of many more legendary items.

That being said, it would be best to save and quit every now and again to not have too much lag with all the loot that could potentially spawn when doing this method. Farming the Scraptrap bosses is the most efficient and simple way of guaranteeing a drop of an anointed version of the Lucky 7 pistol, which is extremely powerful when its modifiers kick in.

Since the nerf to the drop chances of the Chupacabratch on Athenas and the intimidating health pool of Graveward on Mayhem 4, players may find Scraptrap boss farming to be the best way to gear up. Bringing along a corrosive weapon would definitely be helpful, but the Scraptrap bosses shouldn’t be too much of a challenge even with the use of any vault hunter.
