Borderlands 3 is the latest sequel in the hit franchise from Gearbox, which allows players to take control of vault hunters who are scavenging space for the Great Vault. The game has kept up the pace since its release last September, consistently launching new DLC and online loot events to engage players. In addition to this, the game is running a six-week event in celebration of its anniversary that will bring new loot, prizes, and weapons each week.

As a bonus, any players who choose to purchase the game at the end of the free to play period will have all their existing progress and loot saved and transferred to their copy of the game, meaning players won’t have to restart at the beginning after buying. The base game is also on sale across all platforms, so now is truly the best time to try out Borderlands 3.
Newcomers to the game have plenty to look forward to should they choose to purchase the game after the weekend. Borderlands 3 is always adding new loot and challenges for players to enjoy. While there have been no new announcements around what the fourth DLC for Borderlands 3 could be, there are three previous DLC instalments available to players. The latest add-on titled Bounty of Blood took players to a brand new western-themed planet featuring dinosaurs and more.
