With the PvE mode in Overwatch 2, Blizzard needs to ensure that the missions feel more fleshed out than Uprising, Retribution, and Storm Rising. While these co-op levels were strong, they understandably lacked the depth and polish of a full mode. The increased enemy variety and more varied mechanics that have been confirmed for Overwatch 2 are a great start, but polished and detailed cinematics will also be key. If Blizzard wanted to really add some style to its missions, pulling in the splash screens from Borderlands could do the trick....

Gearbox has placed save points just before pretty much every boss fight in Borderlands 3, which has made it much easier to repeatedly farm those enemies. To do so, players will first need to beat the boss and finish any associated mission. After doing that, players can then fast travel back to the enemy zone, make it to the save point, and battle the boss again - earning a fountain of loot most of the time....

Though the motives behind the Takedown Raid bosses in Borderlands 3 are understandable, as going through a Destiny-like Strike before each fight sounds great on paper, there have been some major shortcomings with the use of Takedowns, ranging from unfair levels of difficulty to divisive design decisions. As such, Gearbox may want to consider returning to a more traditional Raid boss format with future Borderlands 3 DLC and the inevitable Borderlands 4....
